We are searching for an experienced Legal Specialist to join us and develop their career working with in corporate, labor, and commercial law sectors as well as preparing and negotiating contracts for non-resident companies. You will also practice your legal specialization assisting us with international market agreements. We’re always excited to welcome new specialists ready to embrace challenges with us.
Key qualifications and expertise:
- Excellent spoken and written;
- English language skills;
- Higher education, a degree in Law;
- At least 2 years of experience as a practicing lawyer in any industry-specific law area: IT, logistics, banks, e-commerce;
- Experience in handling various legal drafts (contracts, agreements, policies, minutes of meeting, etc.)
- Good knowledge of corporate, commercial, labour, and tax laws of Ukraine and corporate and tax laws of the United Kingdom (USA and Germany will be a plus);
- Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets or Microsoft Office and legal research tools;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Will be a plus:
- Excellent spoken and written German language skills.
- Сertified Attorney-at-Law of Ukraine.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Provide legal advice and support on a range of issues, including corporate law, labour law, tax law, commercial law, and civil law of appropriate jurisdiction;
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, minutes of meeting, and other legal instruments;
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal advice and decision-making;
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as identify and manage legal risks;
- Manage legal documentation and maintain accurate and up-to-date legal records;
- Monitor, maintain legal knowledge database up-to-date, and inform the team in a timely manner on appropriate changes;
- Assist with the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective management of legal risks and compliance obligations;
- Assist with opening bank and payment system accounts, and handling compliance and KYC requests from financial institutions;
- Assist with other projects/ tasks assigned by the manager when needed.
