Edvantis is opening the position of Legal Counsel to join our team and provide legal support for the company’s strategic goals and needs by providing proactive and pragmatic advice to the business on all legal and regulatory matters.


  • Provide legal advice to the management on any matter related to company functioning and strategic moves etc.
  • Draft, update, review and solidify commercial contracts, agreements and other legal documentation (including legal policies, standard terms, templates etc.) to ensure the company’s full legal rights and develop standard form legal documentation
  • Ensure that changes in the law and in regulations that affect the company are identified, and advise on appropriate action
  • Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
  • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
  • Support day-to-day legal activities and operations of the company
  • Implement legal compliance in the various areas of business operations
  • Provide high quality legal services and support to all Offices and Departments
  • Contribute in the development process of company’s policies, procedures and controls at various levels through input of legal advice on relevant aspects referred
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust


  • 3+ years of experience in international law and IT contracts
  • Experience in negotiation with clients
  • Master of Law degree
  • Sound knowledge of international and Ukraine law
  • Excellent knowledge of Civil Code and Labour Code
  • Professional knowledge in the area of intellectual property law and technology agreements
  • Professional knowledge of privacy legislation and compliance practices
  • Proven ability to provide practical outcome focused legal advice and support across a broad range of areas of law
  • Ability to draft and negotiate agreements ranging from standard services and consultancy agreements to international Enterprise collaborations
  • Ability to instruct counsel on complex matters
  • Excellent monitoring and advising on changes in legislation
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, and practical approach to complex problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders
  • Ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
  • Be ready for a business trips to Lviv
  • English level – Advanced

Will be a plus:

  • Privacy knowledge certification (e.g. GDPR-F, GDPR-P, CIPP, CIPM or CIPT)
  • Polish, German or other European language is desirable
