The Nature of Law: Society, Morals and Justice.

We are delighted to invite you to join us on Tuesday 30th November between 3.45 and 4.45 pm to find out more about what it is like to study Law at university. Law is a fascinating subject that opens itself to lots of discussion and differing views.

This session will be split into three distinct parts that will study contemporary issues within the nature of law in relation to society, morals and justice.

In the first part of this session you will examine the impact of Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill on society’s right to freedom of expression and assembly.

You will then consider the role of morality within the law before considering this in the context of the law surrounding abortion.

Finally, you will examine whether the law achieves justice for those who are forced to commit crime under coercive control.

We look forward to seeing you and hearing your opinions!
