From student to partner in a law firm…my journey
April 28 @ 13:30 - 14:30 UTC+2
Tom Warrender graduated from the University of Northampton (or UCN as it was then!) back in 2004. He is now an equity partner and sits on the board of management at Wilson Browne Solicitors.
Tom will talk about his time at UCN, his career path thereafter (from the legal practice course through to his training contract and then career progression from then on) drawing on his own experiences from work experience whilst still at University, to volunteering at the Citizens Advice Bureau, as well as talking through his career journey as a whole. He will also touch upon the other resources available which prove invaluable in his day to day life now such as forums such as LinkedIn.
No fancy power point presentations, but just a raw and honest talk from Tom about his career to date. The talk will be followed by a question and answer session allowing you to put your career questions direct to a partner in a business employing 160 staff across 6 different offices.
