Anna Babych’s comment on all this
Anna Babych’s comment regarding, as we understand, our publication the day before yesterday. Anna posted the comment on her Facebook page. We publish it without permission but also without changes.

“For the second week already, certain pseudo-journalists have been agitating the concerned public with terribly important news — revocation of my license allegedly for drunk driving. At first, the news had an effect only on a small group of young lawyers, culminating in an offer to shoot me in the leg, but the client probably continues to demand that the task be worked out more widely and in-depth (perhaps wants a second leg), so I would like to make a few suggestions:
Not for drunk driving. The protocol was drawn up, and the court decision is accordingly for the fact that I allegedly refused to take an alcohol test. There is a video from the cameras that confirms the fact that I did not refuse to do it many times. But the court hearing the case in Kyiv on March 1, 2022, did not see this. It is understandable — that day, there were 13 air raids and an attack on the Kyiv TV Tower. The enemy stood near Kyiv. In short, the review was proper, complete, and impartial. And not to mention the notice of the meeting.
Anticipating questions from the concerned public: this situation, case materials, records, and other issues — this is my personal business. I do not plan to publish them.
To the public condemners and those who are trying to add fuel to this dying fire, I wish that your wife, girlfriend, daughter, or mother will never find herself in a situation where she will be followed by a patrol car for a long time late at night, stopped in a dark place for allegedly a traffic violation at an intersection (which there is no one I mean at all), will demand some documents for a long time (although there is Diia), will be morally abused in every possible way (because you are a girl and you are alone), will look in your purse and in the end will demand that you abandon your car in a dark, deserted place and drive away somewhere to “puff”.
AEQUO handles many complex cases. Our legal protection “crossed the way” of many people who are capable and able to commit any provocations. Especially about me. I am always ready for such a scenario. And I do not regret that between the options of being robbed, injured, humiliated or ending the evening in some other unplanned way, I got just that. It’s funny, but the patrol simply left, leaving the allegedly drunk driver alone with the car on the road. This is eloquent.
To the detractors who claim that I could have already drunkenly run over at least 10 minor children (and probably eaten them after that), who want to shoot me in the leg, and other fighters for money tokens: I ask you to set a time to mutilate me massacres, the only thing — I would be grateful if it happened in my office. There they will be able to provide me with medical and legal assistance right away.
As often happens, such a situation also brings something good. It highlighted once again how carefully some pseudo-media work, fulfilling the orders of their donors and their clients under the guise of public interest. Terribly touched that I am publicly important. But I call on representatives of the legal profession, who understand the words ethics and healthy competition in their unbiased meaning, to stop cooperation and any contacts with such pseudo-media.
And finally, taking advantage of such pleasant attention to my person now, I ask, please, to pay for the car for the transportation of the wounded.
A close friend of mine is on a hot streak right now. The worst thing for our brave boys and girls is to return crippled and fall sick into the arms of the family. The right car increases the chances of the wounded returning alive and well many times over. Link to monobank in the first comment. Thank you!
